On board the Ferrari 333 Sp. This version is using something similar to a Winston Cup engine that peaks at 750hp with a 8,000 rpm redline rather than the 600HP 11,000 rpm Ferrari V-12 engine, so lap times are probably quicker here than in the real thing. This shot is coming out of the carousel at Road America, a high speed 190+ degree turn. Unfortunately, this JPG format really degrades the picture quality!
'72 Lotus Formula 1. Grand Prix Legends 2, anyone? ;-) The suspension here is from the Ferrari 333Sp (the sim version, not the real thing), so the upper arms aren't visibly attached to the car up front like they should be. Also, the springs are incredibly stiff to handle the downforce from the Ferrari, so there isn't much body roll here even though it's pulling 1.6+g's through this corner. The wheels camber correctly with the suspension movement, as can be seen here at the front end.
