C-5 Corvette doing a powerslide. I haven't quite figured out how to load and apply texture maps from 3-D car models, so a funky paintjob is used instead.
Formula one car. This was set up with a Salisbury limited slip differential using only a 10% locking factor. The inside rear tire spins through this corner. Note the lateral acceleration of well over 2 g's here. This car does 4.5g's at about 190 mph, stopping in less than 4 seconds. It spins the tires like crazy until 70 or 80 mph when the rear downforce finally allows full throttle to be applied. There are no traction control devices on this car, so it takes quick reflexes and finesse with the throttle to negotiate lower speed corners without spinning out.
